Dierks Bentley admits a charity motorcycle ride and concert isn't his original idea. The country star says he decided to launch his Miles & Music For Kids after taking part in a similar event hosted by former Tennessee Titans tight end Frank Wycheck.
Bentley says he was also motivated to stage his fundraiser by his manager, whose son has Down syndrome. The singer adds that the event gives him the opportunity to combine two things he loves - motorcycles and music.
Dierks will host his ninth annual Miles & Music For Kids in Nashville on September 28th. Chris Young, Kip Moore, Randy Houser, and Jon Pardi are slated to take part in the event, which raises money for Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
